Liliha Bakery opened its sixth Oahu location at Waikiki Beach Walk on July 17, 2026, and the detail that caught our eye in the coverage was the drinks. Aloha State Daily, which toured the space before opening, put it plainly: “This location also has a bar menu.” That got our attention, because our base in Waikiki is Hokulani Waikiki, the club tower over Waikiki Beach Walk, and a bakery with cold beer downstairs is a genuinely relevant development for us.
So we sat down and read the actual menus. The bar is real: five beers, ten wines by the glass, six cocktails. It is also, drink for drink, the same list the other Waikiki store pours today — which changes what this opening is worth to you.
What opened, and where
The new location is at 226 Lewers St., second floor, inside Waikiki Beach Walk. Both the Liliha Bakery site and the complex’s own tenant page list it as open daily, 7 am to 10 pm, phone 808-922-1188, both checked September 1, 2026; the company’s own page still flags the address as “NOW OPEN”. That makes six Oahu locations and two in Waikiki, since the International Market Place store is still there.
Aloha State Daily also put the room at about 6,000 square feet with indoor and outdoor seating, and reported that the fried chicken is made to order. Those details come from that one report rather than from the company’s own pages, so treat them as reported.
What the bar list actually is
This is the part worth having in front of you. The prices below are from the location’s own menu PDF on the official menus page, read on September 1, 2026.
| Drink | Price |
|---|---|
| Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois, Asahi Super Dry, Kona Brewing Co. Light Blonde Ale | $6.95 |
| Kona Brewing Co. Gold Cliff IPA | $7.50 |
| Wines by the glass (ten, cabernet through prosecco) | $9.95 – $15.95 |
| Hand-crafted cocktails (six, including the Fly By Mai Tai) | $15.95 |
| Mimosa | $12.95 |
Two things stand out. A beer under $8 in Waikiki, with no discount window required, is a reasonable number. And there is no happy hour printed on that menu — no time window, no reduced pricing, nothing. If one exists, it is not on the document the company publishes.
The same bar list is already at International Market Place
We pulled the other location menus from the same official page while we were there. The International Market Place menu carries the identical drink sections: the same five beers at the same $6.95 and $7.50, the same ten wines by the glass at the same prices, the same six cocktails at $15.95, the same $12.95 mimosa.
The other menus are thinner. Ala Moana lists a short beer, wine and mimosa section — Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois, a cabernet and a chardonnay of the day, prosecco, orange and guava mimosas. The menu for the original Liliha location (515 N. Kuakini St.) has no alcohol on it at all.
So the accurate version is this: no one we read claimed the new bar was exclusive, and it is not. The full bar list belongs to both Waikiki restaurants, and it thins out or disappears at the other four. Both menus checked September 1, 2026, and menus get replaced, so re-read them before you build an evening around a specific pour.
What it changes for a Waikiki stay
Not the drinks, then. What changes is where the food is and how late.
Prices from the same Waikiki Beach Walk menu, September 1, 2026:
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Loco moco | $22.95 |
| Loco moco over fried rice | $23.95 |
| Smoked pork belly loco moco | $24.95 |
| Carved prime rib, 10 oz (from 11 am) | $36.95 |
| Carved prime rib, 16 oz (from 11 am) | $48.95 |
| Coco Puff | $3.75 |
| Poi mochi donut | $3.49 |
Lunch and dinner plates come with the butter roll, rice, corn, and a choice of potato-mac or mixed green salad. The three-piece fried chicken plate is $24.95 on that same menu, and Aloha State Daily, at its first-look preview, describes the three pieces as a drumstick and two thighs. The menu also notes an automatic 18% tip for parties of six or more.
If you drive, the parking belongs to the complex, not the restaurant. Waikiki Beach Walk’s parking page lists complimentary valet daily from 10 am to 3 pm at the Embassy Suites porte cochere or Wyndham, with a validated ticket and a same-day receipt of $10 or more from a shop or restaurant there; outside that, $8 for four hours with validation. Checked September 1, 2026.
What we would do — and what we would not
We have not eaten at this location. It opened in July, we were not there, and we are not going to describe a plate we have not carried upstairs.
What we would do is takeout, which is how we use every Liliha counter. The International Market Place store has been our Waikiki counter until now. The plan here writes itself: the three-piece fried chicken, fried after you order it, plus a loco moco, carried up and eaten at our own table with beer from our own fridge. That is roughly $48 before tax and tip for two plates, which is a normal Waikiki dinner number for food that reheats well the next day.
The 10 pm close is the part we actually value. We start drinking in the middle of the afternoon and we are asleep long before the bars get busy, so a late kitchen is not about going out — it is insurance for the evening you realize there is nothing to eat and you do not want to put shoes back on for long.
Would we sit at the bar? Probably once, for a Gold Cliff IPA at $7.50, which is a fair price for a cold local IPA in this part of town. But with no happy hour on the menu, sitting down does not beat buying beer at Longs or Target and drinking it with the same food in the room. The cocktail list at $15.95 is simply not ours — we do not drink cocktails on vacation or anywhere else. If the Fly By Mai Tai is your idea of a good afternoon, it is right there and we are glad it exists.
The Coco Puff is the one that keeps working on us. We are not dessert people — the sweets aisle gets walked past on every grocery run — so a $3.75 pastry is not usually what moves us. We have had one, at the Ala Moana counter, and it is the rare sweet that got a second look from both of us. What changes at this address is the effort required: picked up on the way past, on one of those mornings when something sweet unaccountably sounds good. Whether it turns into a habit at this address is a question we have not had to answer yet.
One more thing we would do: wait. A new store in a busy complex draws a crowd for a while, and we do not do lines. Later in the run, on a weekday, is our kind of visit.
Before you plan around this
- Every price above was read from the company’s own location menus on September 1, 2026. Menus change; the menus page is the tie-breaker.
- The opening date, the square footage, the outdoor seating and the fried-to-order detail come from Aloha State Daily’s pre-opening report, not from the company’s site.
- No happy hour was printed on either Waikiki menu as of that date. If you see one advertised in-store, believe the store.
- The parking terms are the complex’s, and complexes revise them.

The bar menu got our attention. The 10 pm kitchen downstairs is the thing we will actually use.
